Today, I went hiking for the first time in about 4 years, since I lived in Thunder Bay.
I live in the city mostly because I don’t want to have to commute to work while I’m still renting, but getting out of the city on occasion is really important to me. Both brunch and dinner were had in small towns near the mountain.
It was insanely difficult to find parking, but thankfully we prevailed. The views even from where we started the hike were breathtaking and reminded me of why this area is so beautiful. I took the below picture near the top of the trail, just before we headed back down. It is probably my favourite picture from the day, though I do have sixty-something other pictures that are also amazing.

Beautiful summer scenery
